Little Hanuman bowed politely to gentle Sita in the quiet Ashoka garden. He felt so happy to find her safe and well. Now he wanted to show King Ravana that brave Prince Rama had very clever friends. Hanuman giggled softly to himself as he puffed out his chest. It was time to play a few playful tricks.

Hanuman leaped high into the tall fruit trees. He shook the branches until sweet red mangoes rained down like confetti. The sleepy garden guards woke up with a start as delicious fruits bounced off their helmets. Hanuman tickled their toes and zoomed away before they could even blink. The grumpy guards chased him in circles, huffing and puffing while Hanuman giggled.

Soon, the guards brought Hanuman to the grand palace of King Ravana. The king sat on a gigantic throne, but he forgot to offer Hanuman a seat. Hanuman did not mind at all. He made his magical tail grow longer and longer. He swirled it into a neat, bouncy tower and sat right on top. Hanuman was now sitting much higher than the king, making the whole court gasp and giggle.

The surprised guards wanted to tease Hanuman, so they wrapped his long tail in soft cloth and lit the tip to scare him. But Hanuman just grinned a big monkey grin. He shrank until he was as small as a button, slipped free, and leaped up to the starry sky. He hopped gently across the golden rooftops, his bright tail glowing like a lovely festival lantern. Everyone watched in wonder, completely safe and happy down below.

Hanuman swooped down to the blue ocean and dipped his tail into the cool water with a tiny splash. The warm light went out, and his tail felt nice and fresh again. He stretched his arms wide and flew high into the soft night sky. Hanuman laughed all the way home, excited to tell Prince Rama about his grand adventure.

True courage shines brightest through cleverness, gentle humor, and a warm heart.
