Hanuman Meets Prince Rama

When Prince Rama searches the peaceful forest for Sita, he meets the kind and devotion-filled Hanuman, beginning a wonderful lifelong friendship.

ages 5-7

Prince Rama and his loving brother Lakshmana walked gently through the quiet forest. They were searching for Princess Sita, feeling tired after their long journey. Soon, they reached the foot of the beautiful Rishyamukha hill. Tall trees danced softly in the evening breeze, while the sun painted the sky in warm shades of orange and gold.

High up in the branches, Hanuman saw the two handsome travelers walking below. Hanuman was a brave and clever monkey with a heart full of kindness. He floated down softly like a feather to welcome the guests. With a tender voice, he asked who they were and offered them a warm, peaceful greeting.

When Prince Rama spoke his name, Hanuman felt a wonderful glow inside his heart. He knew right away that Rama was his beloved lord, the one he had waited for so long. Hanuman gently bowed down, placing his hands together in deep love. Rama smiled brightly, stepping forward to wrap Hanuman in a cozy hug like a long lost brother.

Hanuman felt so happy that he offered to carry the brothers up the steep hill. With great strength and care, he let Rama and Lakshmana sit upon his soft, strong shoulders. He leapt lightly through the air to meet King Sugriva and all his monkey friends. The cheerful monkeys gathered round and promised to help Rama find Sita.

As stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Hanuman sat happily beside Rama. A beautiful new friendship had blossomed, filling the dark night with warmth and hope. Rama knew he would never be alone, for Hanuman was by his side. The quiet forest rested under the gentle moon, sweet and still.

True friends bring light into our lives, helping us with love, devotion, and kindness.
