Indra and the Seven-Colored Bridge

High above the golden clouds, kind King Indra looked down at the sunny forest on Earth. The leafy trees were thirsty, and the tiny woodland animals were searching for cool water under the warm sun. Indra gently stroked his majestic white elephant, Airavata, with a loving smile. "It is time to bring a refreshing gift to our earthly friends," Indra whispered.

Indra raised his grand golden bow and called the dark rain clouds together. Suddenly, loud thunder rumbled through the sky, making a tiny rabbit cover its ears and a little bird flutter nervously. Indra paused and saw that his loud storm had frightened the gentle forest creatures. "Oh dear," Indra thought, "I must use my sky power with gentleness and care."

Indra sang a quiet, soothing song to the clouds, asking them to sprinkle a soft and loving shower. Instead of a heavy storm, cool pitter-patter raindrops danced merrily onto the forest leaves. The thirsty red flowers opened up happily, and the green grass glowed in the cool mist. The tiny bunny giggled and hopped joyfully in the soft rain!

To bring sunshine back to the happy forest, Indra gathered seven bright ribbons of sunlight. He painted a magnificent arch across the sky in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet! This glorious seven-colored rainbow bridge stretched softly from the heavens down to the Earth. Indra promised to always protect the wonderful environment below.

All the forest creatures gathered under the beautiful rainbow, cheering and thanking Indra for his thoughtful gift. Indra waved warmly from his cloud, feeling happy inside his heart. The forest bloomed in sweet, peaceful harmony, forever blooming under the loving care of the sky.
