Chandra and the Soft Night Blossom

Join gentle Chandra, the Moon God, as he teaches a tiny night flower how to wait patiently for its special bloom. A sweet bedtime tale of patience and quiet wonder.

ages 3-4

Up in the cool night sky, gentle Chandra the Moon God shone bright and round. Down below in a sleepy garden pond, a tiny flower bud opened its little eyes. 'I want to bloom right now!' whispered the little bud eagerly. Chandra looked down with warm, friendly eyes and a kind smile.

The little bud wiggled its leaves and tried as hard as it could to push its petals open. But the tiny petals stayed tightly closed together. 'Why am I not blooming?' sighed the tired little flower. Chandra floated closer on a soft silver cloud to give it comfort.

'Sweet little flower, beautiful things cannot be rushed,' Chandra said in his calm, wise voice. 'Patience is a quiet gift that helps us grow strong.' Chandra began to hum a sweet, dreamy lullaby. The gentle night air grew peaceful and still.

The little flower listened to Chandra's soft song and took a deep, quiet breath. It stopped pushing and rested comfortably in the cool night breeze. It drank in the sweet silver moonbeams and felt happy inside. It learned to wait with a peaceful heart.

Slowly and softly, one petal unfolded, and then another! The tiny bud blossomed into a magnificent, glowing night lily under the twinkling stars. 'You waited so wisely,' Chandra beamed with pride. He showered the happy bloom with a bright coat of magical silver light.

When we are patient and calm, wonderful things unfold in their own perfect time.
